Add Collaborators to a CDM Stage in a Project

In CDM (Collaborative Document Management), adding collaborators to a CDM stage allows project managers to assign specific team members to work on particular stages of a project. Collaborators can be given tailored roles and permissions, ensuring that the right people have access to the right stages for efficient content creation, review, and management.

When to Add Collaborators to a CDM Stage

You should add collaborators to a CDM stage when you need to:

  • Assign specific team members to manage, edit, or review content at a particular stage of a project.
  • Limit access to sensitive stages by granting permissions only to relevant users.
  • Scale project collaboration by inviting internal or external contributors to participate in specific parts of a document workflow.
  • Maintain better control over who can modify, view, or approve content during different project phases.

To Add Collaborators to a CDM Stage

  1. Open the Project where the CDM stage is located.
  2. Click the Members tab in the project’s home.
Note

If Global and Stage Based Members management is enabled, you will see and assign members to specific stages.

Collaborators added at the CDM stage level will only have access to the specific stages they are assigned to, based on their role permissions.
